Should You Apply Sunscreen Before or After Moisturizer?

Sunscreen before or after moisturizer? Why does layering skincare feel like an NFL playbook? I recently partnered up with Aveeno to test out some products that may streamline this whole process #yesplease. What if I told you that now you won’t have to have a skincare instruction manual for which order everything goes in, because all you need is one product? While on the hunt for a one-stop-but effective-shop for SPF protection + anti-aging, I feel like I’ve stumbled upon a goldmine.

It’s the Aveeno Positively Radiant Dark Spot Correcter with SPF 15 (yessss SPF). The moisturizer helps with the 5 main factors that create the most radiant look: tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness, and brown spots. It also has light reflective particles that bounce light off the skin, creating the most hydrated, glowy aura. What sets these light reflective particles apart from other moisturizers, is that I can work this down my neck for extra SPF protection and I don’t have any odd discoloration from where the product starts and stops. So now, when it comes to caring for the skin on my neck and hand (which show the most obvious signs of aging) it doesn’t include me juggling multiple products, because all I need is my Aveeno Positively Radiant Dark Spot Correcter with SPF 15.

Since I love the Daily Moisturizer so much, I wanted to branch out and try the body wash as well. The Aveeno Positively Radiant Exfoliating body wash is a gentle, but powerful exfoliating body wash. Rather than using plastic beads and harming our environment (cc: my recent transition from plastic straws), it is packed with walnut shell powder which sloughs away dead skin. I am a huge advocate of exfoliating my legs before shaving or waxing. To have a wash that nourishes my skin and helps retain moisture should be at the top of everyone’s Fall skincare list. Plus, it smells like a banana smoothy, which is always welcomed. Linked below are my favorite Aveeno products that are a must for this upcoming Fall/Winter season.
